Lake County Schools along with Head Start Regional Representative is excited to meet with private providers to have a discussion regarding helping our young children transition into Kindergarten.  The meetings will include VPK Private Provider Representatives, Kindergarten Representative from each elementary/charter school, Head Start Regional Representative (Ms. JewRonda Green), K-2 Curriculum Representative, VPK Pre-K Resource Teacher (Ms. Jackie Atkinson) and a Title I Representative.  The meeting will include introductions, beginning skills children need to know before enter kindergarten, classroom expectations, transitioning resources and an open forum for discussion.

• Dates, Times and locations– Wednesday afternoon from 2:45 pm-3:45 pm
  • April 3 – Early Learning Coalition Training Room, 1300 Citizens Blvd, Leesburg, FL 34748 – Region 2 (providers that are located in Tavares, Leesburg, Lady Lake and Fruitland Park)
