The ELCLC is seeking childcare programs who wish to offer the Raising a Reader Program to their families in care. Come out and learn about how your center can participate in this initiative. The session is appropriate for leadership and staff who will be implementing the program.

The Raising a Reader Program is a proven, evidence-based family engagement and early literacy program for children birth to 5 years old. The program helps families develop, practice, and maintain a home-based literacy routine necessary for school success. The Raising a Reader program’s goal is to substantially increase the number of families that share picture books and stories with their children frequently and routinely each week.
