Promoting Socialization in Infants and Toddlers
The heart and sole of high-quality infant-toddler care and education lies in the relationship between the educator and child. Come join us as we explore the CLASS-aligned competencies that every provider needs to promote infant and toddler socialization. We will explore the typical development of children’s awareness and understanding of other people, gain knowledge about individual differences in social behavior due to temperament and expand strategies needed to support the development of social cognition and to facilitate social interactions between young children.
