The PEARLS program’s purpose is to bring awareness and a new way of thinking to early childhood educators and other stakeholders across the state. The training urges you to evaluate your environment, understand your options, and have a plan so that you will be prepared to take appropriate action quickly to mitigate risk and save lives should you find yourself in a dangerous situation. Evaluation and understanding options for different circumstances will assist you in formulating specific plans to protect those in your care. We must be willing to address this tough topic; knowing how we can help ourselves in these challenging situations can change the outcome of a threatening event. We never want to be paranoid, but always want to be prepared! Preparation is fundamental to Protecting!

This two-hour training brings to the forefront the reality of potential dangers in the world that we live in today and helps you be Educated, Prepared, and ready to Protect yourself and those in your care.
