This session will provide participants insight into classroom experiences that can integrate early literacy learning through both the visual arts and music. This session will share art and music lessons for participants to experience first-hand. These experiences will be used to encourage participants to think through the planning and design of their own arts-based experiences to support their student’s literacy learning with a particular emphasis on letter sound and phonological awareness.
