December 7, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The objective of this training would be to help teachers understand emotional and physical stressors that are traumatic to children and how a child with a higher ACE score may react differently to intervention than those without. A key component will also help attendees understand how exposure to adverse childhood experiences impact people psychologically and medically throughout the lifespan. This training will be broken up into 2 parts (11/9/21 and 12/7/21): 1. The ACE Study and how trauma impacts the body and a child in the classroom 2. How to be trauma informed and respond to a child’s needs in the classroom.
