The Early Learning Coalition is a 501 © (3) organization supported by funds from the State of Florida and Federal Government.  The primary goal of the Coalition is to use these funds to provide high quality early childhood education programs and services for children birth to five years of age.  These funds are allocated by the State for direct services for Lake County’s children and families. 

The Coalition’s Business Development Director, (formerly Program Outreach Coordinator) functions in a variety of areas. In addition to speaking at civic meetings and community events to distribute ELCLC information, this employee also assists in securing state mandated match dollars; these are unrestricted funds donated to the Coalition for enhancing the Big Blue Bus program and other services for the children.
